# Cinnamon: From transaction to client report > Cinnamon Core keeps positions and accounting from the same transactions, consolidates any selection and holds every day ready, fully valued. Cinnamon Reporting turns it into web and print reports that answer questions. Cinnamon is an investment platform for banks and asset managers, developed by bmpi AG, exclusively in Switzerland, and operated by its wholly owned subsidiary Cinnamon Services AG. It is two products, usually sold together: - **Cinnamon Core** keeps positions, valuation, performance and accounting. Positions and accounting come from the same transactions and the same booking logic; every position is a result of the booked transactions and can be recalculated from any date; a valued state is kept for every position in every consolidation for every day; and a consolidation can mix mandates, portfolios, depots and single positions. - **Cinnamon Reporting** produces client reports once as a structured tree and renders them into every channel: web, PDF, Word, Excel and JSON. The same design tokens drive the web view and the print document. New: a conversational assistant that answers questions about the report's own figures, each one read from the report or computed by the server, never written by the model. Both run in the **Cinnamon Cloud**, an outsourcing platform built to FINMA rules and operated in Switzerland by Cinnamon Services AG, which also offers it to software vendors, fintechs and specialised service providers that serve Swiss banks. Cinnamon Services AG runs Cinnamon as a service (SaaS) and as business process outsourcing (BPO); those offerings and the Cloud are described on its own site, https://cinnamon-services.ch.
