ESG reporting · As a report of its own or in the investment report

ESG reporting for every requirement.

Usually it is a sustainability report of its own, sometimes a chapter in the investment report. Both come from the same data and the same production line as your other reports, so the figures match. For client portfolios, funds and institutional assets, to ASIP, to the Swiss Climate Scores or to your own rules, in your brand.

Who it is for

Three requirements, one reporting

Client portfolios

Banks and wealth managers assess their clients’ portfolios on sustainability too, regularly, in the investment report or as a report of its own, in their brand.

Funds

Asset managers add a sustainability report to their funds, assessed against the Swiss Climate Scores or to their own rules, up to the complete factsheet.

Large assets

Pension funds, foundations and family offices receive the evaluation of their assets to the ASIP standard, as a standard report or to their own rules.

What is in the report

Risks, climate, impact

The building blocks for it are built and in production. You decide which ones a report contains.

ESG risks

  • The portfolio’s ESG risk against the benchmark
  • ESG rating as a scale and a distribution
  • Exclusion criteria
  • Controversies

Climate

  • CO₂ emissions over time and by sector
  • The five highest-emitting positions
  • Implied temperature rise, as a thermometer

Impact

  • Alignment with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Active ownership: voting and engagement
  • Look-through into funds’ individual holdings

Standards

To the standard your client expects

ASIP

The ESG reporting standard of the Swiss Pension Fund Association, for pension funds and foundations.

Swiss Climate Scores

The Swiss federal climate indicators for financial products, for funds and portfolios.

Your rules

Your own criteria, exclusions and figures, as configuration rather than a project.

Cooperation partner for regulatory certainty: PwC.

Where the data comes from

ESG data, joined to your positions

ESG data from the vendors is held in a dedicated ESG data store and joined to your positions there. Reporting reads it together with performance and allocation.

From 2027Self-service portal

Upload instead of connecting

Until now the bank was connected to Cinnamon before the first ESG report was produced. From 2027 the ESG portal works without that connection: upload the portfolio, choose a benchmark, order the report, receive the result.

  1. 01

    Upload the portfolio

As Excel or CSV, or simply paste ISIN and weight. Every ISIN is checked, and the weights stay as you enter them.

  2. 02

    Choose a benchmark

A definition of your own from indices, or one you have used before.

  3. 03

    Order the report

Choose report type, client type and reporting date, check the summary, order with one click.

  4. 04

    Receive the result

The status is visible live in the portal. Then PDF, Excel and the web report are ready, stored permanently.
